OPSWAT and ESET today announced that ESET’s antivirus scanning engine will now be included in OPSWAT’s Metascan Online. The partnership will help to improve Metascan Online, by including the malware detection capabilities of the ESET engine to the site's scanning process. For the month of July INF/Autorun was the most wide-spread type of threat both in Europe (5.27%) and globally (6.51%). The malware stats are based on ESET’s cloud-based malware collection system.
